- What You'll Be Doing
- + Participate in hands-on learning across quarry operations, including mine planning, safety, equipment evaluation, and process optimization + Develop short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans, including pit shell designs, stripping plans, waste development plans, and reclamation plans + Prepare geological models and perform resource and reserve estimations + Develop life-of-mine plans with phased development schedules, milestones, and cost inputs + Provide design parameters and volume calculations to support capital and acquisition projects + Collaborate with regional management, geologists, project managers, and engineers to evaluate mineral quantity and quality + Ensure mine plans align with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company objectives •What Are We Looking For•+ Juniors or Seniors pursuing a BS in Mining, Civil Engineering, or Geologist + Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills with demonstrated initiative and adaptability + Ability to manage multiple projects, build relationships, and think strategically + Experience with Carlson / AutoCAD software or any other mining and geological software.
