Position Summary We have multiple openings for a qualified AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with optional NDT Level II certification in Phoenix, AZ. This role combines structural steel welding inspection with non-destructive testing responsibilities in our growing southwestern operations. Key Responsibilities Conduct shop and field inspection of structural steel welds and bolting systems Perform NDT testing using UT (Ultrasonic Testing), MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), PT (Penetrant Testing), and Radiographic Testing) RT methods Review and interpret blueprints and current code requirements Ensure compliance with construction and inspection standards for structural steel welding Maintain comprehensive documentation including field data, laboratory reports, letters, and RFI responses Communicate effectively with Project Managers and client representatives Manage proper filing systems for all inspection records and correspondence Required Qualifications Current AWS/CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification - REQUIRED Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction quality industry Ability to read and understand structural blueprints and code requirements Valid driver's license with good driving record Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and positive work ethic Preferred Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's degree NDT Level II certification in
UT, MT, PT, RT
Experience with pipeline, structural, and industrial piping testing and inspection.
