Manufacturing NDT FPI Inspector 3rd Shift M-F 10pm to 6am (P) Siemens Energy - 3.9 Gibsonton, FL Job Details Full-time 20 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave 401(k) matching Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description A Snapshot of Your Day Will support manufacturing and processing blades and vanes on the Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection Line with NDT Level 2 responsibilities for inspection in the Gibsonton Florida Location. How You'll Make an Impact Will set up and calibrate equipment, conduct examinations, and interpret results concerning applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Familiar with the scope and limitations of the method and techniques for which qualified, shall exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and NDT Level I personnel. Organizing and reporting the results of NDT tests. Performing an interpretation of FPI indications for acceptance to work instructions/techniques to meet customer specifications. Reporting all required data and mapping the results as required. Cross-training and other duties may be assigned as needed. What You Bring High School Diploma or GED evidence is required. Achieve and maintain internal certifications per SNT-TC-1A and customer requirements including examination for general method knowledge, specific procedure understanding and practical performance of the method. General knowledge of other NDT disciplines and investment casting experience is a plus. Must become trained to the PT certification requirements including 12 hours of formal classroom training and 400 hours of OJT under a certified NDT Level I, II or III. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
