A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

As an NDT II Inspector , you'll perform accurately and in compliance with the industry standards and regulations while being familiar with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used. What you'll do: Set up and calibrate non-destructing testing equipment in accordance with the industry requirements. Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection. Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations. Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results. Organize and report test results. May train others as needed. Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
