Monday-Friday Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Inspector to inspect aircraft engine components throughout the repair and overhaul process. This position is responsible for ensuring parts meet approved specifications, FAA requirements, and applicable technical documentation. Key Responsibilities Inspect aircraft engine parts and components at receiving, during repair, and at final inspection. Identify and separate non-conforming or defective material. Verify part dimensions, fits, clearances, and serviceability using approved technical data. Certify parts that meet all applicable repair and inspection requirements. Review and ensure compliance with applicable Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and manufacturer requirements. Complete inspection reports, route cards, compliance documentation, and other required paperwork. Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure all documentation is properly completed and signed. Use precision inspection tools and equipment, including micrometers, calipers, dial gauges, and other measuring instruments. Follow FAA regulations, company procedures, and approved technical publications. Support calibration activities as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2-3 years of experience in an aircraft engine MRO environment. Powerplant/A&P license is preferred. Experience reading and interpreting aircraft engine manuals, technical publications, OEM bulletins, ADs, and engineering drawings. Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aviation inspection procedures. Proficient with precision measurement and inspection equipment. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Must be able to understand and follow detailed technical documentation. Inspection skills test may be administered as part of the hiring process. Experience with calibration is strongly preferred. The JobSquad Solutions Team is made up of experts around the country.
