May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance. The position is detail-oriented and requires paint removal, surface preparation and coating applications with a strong focus on rust mitigation. Must be proficient with painting tools and have attention to detail. Frequent use of High Reach is required to complete most tasks.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Wire brush all affected areas and surfaces using hand tool cleaning and or power tool cleaning. Depending on specific location High Reach access will be required. Prepping various areas and surfaces via sandpaper, masking and chemical cleaning. Depending on specific location High Reach access will be required. Paint various areas and surfaces to match per UO Quality Control and Engineering direction and OEM specifications, via spraying, brushing and rolling. Depending on specific location High Reach access will be required. Gathers necessary information, tools and equipment to perform assigned tasks. Informs Lead or Supervisor of needed materials and update inventory levels as materials are used. Providing work documentation in Maximo Labor Reporting, Logbook entries, Completing Work orders Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
High school degree or GED required Technical school preferred
EXPERIENCE

Years:
Experience in theme painting and air brush painting Color matching and blending of new to existing finishes is necessary; Preferred - 5-7 years proven experience in a similar work environment dealing with critical paint issues.
