A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

Job Description

CTR Group is seeking Certified Weld Inspectors (CWI) for a Shipyard in the Pascagoula, MS, area. A great career opportunity! 2 positions available!

Contract Duration:

6 Months.

Pay Rate:

$36 per Hour plus $68/day per diem & housing provided for non-local candidates. SUMMARY Seeking an AWS Certified Weld Inspector, preferably with Topcon experience. This position is responsible for inspecting welds in-process to insure they meet customer specifications and company quality requirements and maintains notes and records accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS

Seeking an AWS Certified Weld Inspector. Topcon experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to produce valid, current AWS CWI certification.
