$215/day (for eligible travelers)
Pay Rate:
Up to $45.00 per hou Mistras Group Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / NDT Inspector to support a project in Olean, NY . We are hiring full-time employees. Qualified candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate. Responsibilities Perform visual weld inspections in accordance with AWS codes and customer specifications. Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections following applicable procedures and industry standards. Inspect welds, materials, and components for quality and code compliance. Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation. Communicate inspection findings with supervisors and customers. Follow all company safety policies and client requirements. Maintain certifications and comply with applicable codes and standards. Perform other inspection-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to pass required background screening, drug screening, and client-specific requirements. Preferred Qualifications Level II NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, VT, RT, or other methods). Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, power generation, or oil & gas environments. Additional API or ASNT certifications are a plus. Experience interpreting engineering drawings, codes, and specifications.
