Summary:
ATS is seeking LevelIII UTSW
Technician for shipyard contract assignment near Charleston, SC . Competitive pay at $60- 65 per hour and per diem per current GSA rates offered at $320/day (7 days).
Responsibilities/Duties :
LevelIII UTSW
Technicians:
Supervise/Perform NDT examinations of materials in accordance with NAVSEA procedures, codes, standards, and specifications. Ensure proper set up and utilization of NDT Testing Equipment by inspection personnel. Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which assigned personnel are qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for OJT and guidance of trainees Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations. Be able to prepare written instructions and to organize and report the results of examinations. Work independently and support team members. Perform other job related tasks as needed and assigned by managers. Actively participate in ATS and Client Safety Programs.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Level III Technicians- Meet the minimum requirements of an NDT Level
