Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking skilled and dedicated Truck Drivers with a clean driving record to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a class 8 heavy duty commercial truck, be self motivated, and desire a 1099 position . This role requires a commitment to safety (good driving record), efficiency, and professionalism while transporting freight to designated locations. Driver will receive a dedicated truck (no slip seat). The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo. Responsibilities Operate and drive a manual Volvo VNL. Must have TWIC required (we can assist in obtaining one) Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, fuel, and cargo details. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Must have a clean driving record and have at least 2 years driving experience. Skills Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols. Excellent navigation skills with a strong understanding of local and regional roadways. Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate logs and adhering to safety regulations. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem solving skills and truck maintenance habits. Hazmat and Tanker is a plus Compensation 1099 contractor employee 1000.00-2000.00/ week depending on runs and certifications
