Job Description What you'll do Perform liquid penetrant inspections, magnetic particle inspections, and other related nondestructive quality testing, as required. Perform in-process and final quality assurance checks of assemblies, tools, components, fabrications, and parts using a wide variety of standard and special measuring gages, devices, and techniques. Assist the quality team through defect resolution and perform rework on part non-conformances, as required. Perform workstation audits, as required. Maintain accurate records, in accordance with established standards and practices. Operate material-moving equipment such as forklifts and jib or gantry cranes, as trained. Contribute to team problem solving and continuous improvement efforts. Take ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and productivity in your area of responsibility. What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications) High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must hold relevant Level II NDT certification(s) or successfully complete Level II certification requirements, including classroom work and relevancy exams, within 6 months of the job. Minimum of 1 year in a quality role or manufacturing experience. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to read manual gages, including micrometers and calipers. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and wear required personal protective equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation. Successful completion of an assessment for the job class, background check, and drug screen. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
