Overview We are seeking an energetic and reliable Driver helper specializing in Furniture Assembly to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting furniture and related materials to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in driving commercial vehicles, handling furniture, and assembling items on-site will contribute to a seamless delivery experience for our clients. Duties:

Load and unload furniture items using manual handling techniques and material handling Assemble furniture on-site according to provided instructions, ensuring proper fit, stability, and safety standards are met Communicate professionally with customers during delivery appointments, addressing inquiries and providing excellent customer service Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling of heavy or bulky furniture pieces to prevent injury Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly Experience Prior warehouse experience with material handling equipment operation such as forklifts or pallet jacks is preferred Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar transportation role involving route driving and heavy lifting Familiarity with commercial truck driving and adherence to DOT regulations is highly desirable Experience in moving or furniture assembly enhances your ability to handle on-site tasks efficiently Strong knowledge of safe lifting practices, weight handling in the workplace, and manual transmission operation is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally during deliveries Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and documentation Join us as a Driver-Furniture Assembly specialist where your driving expertise combined with hands-on assembly skills will make a real difference!
