Vehicles, Methods & Tools.

The High Voltage Lead (vEFK/CESC) is responsible for all High Voltage topics and processes for VWGoA (IECC facility + temporary support of other group facilities), ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements

This role serves as the departments primary adviser on High‑Voltage product safety, providing employee training and strategic guidance to senior and executive leadership on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance

Develop and maintain reporting solutions using phyton scripts.

Possible Tasks within this Role

NAR Engineering Test Fleet Responsibilities Test vehicle updates (software and hardware), maintenance, repairs, inspections.

Update vehicles to latest pre-series hardware/software.

Road-test vehicles to ensure successful repairs.

Analyze vehicles for diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Support Integration Team for timely updates.

Install test measuring equipment (Data Loggers, Test Parts, Breakouts etc.).

Perform changes on High Voltage systems in fleet vehicles. High Voltage and v

Responsibilities Develop and implement standardized High Voltage processes and documentation, while advising leadership on risks through assessments, corrective oversight, and expert guidance for VWGoA and its subsidiaries

Train employees in High Voltage safety and processes.

Define and document work instructions.

Monitor compliance with existing processes.

Regular renewal and/or expansion of high-voltage certification.

HV component changes incl. software updates

HV vehicle/test asset releases including documentation Additional Responsibilities Support Mgmt., IECC for HV related tasks

Liaison to VW Group & Rivian Volkswagen Technology related HV topics

Support Vehicle Validation Test Lead in retesting issues.

Program tools to raise efficiency

Qualification requirements

Years of Relevant Experience 5-8 years Education and Certifications Required Desired Associates degree/certification in automotive technology or similar work experience.

EFK certification (DIN

VDE 1000-10

) or HVE Level 3 certified.

This position is located in Irvine, CA. The pay range for this location is $101,88 - $183,200.
