Duties Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to meet quality standards and uphold sanitation guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu items, upselling specials, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Clear tables, bus tables as needed, and support kitchen staff with basic food handling and sanitation tasks. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with health regulations. Support sales efforts through suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase revenue. Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and sales calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively. Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks is advantageous; kitchen or café experience is a plus.
