As a Staff Application Engineer in our Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team, you work hand-in-hand with our customers, enabling them to transform our products into cutting-edge designs, all while building long lasting partnerships that thrive on success. Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role We're looking for a power system control & firmware engineer to develop and optimize system power solutions for AI Data center applications. This individual will be one of the key members of our system application engineering team for power systems in computing, consumer and communications. He/she will work closely with other system application engineers and field applications engineers and sales managers closely to support customers on power system and control loop firmware design for proof of concept prototype board development. This position is highly visible with an excellent career path
- Work with power system application engineers closely to develop system power solutions with focus on digital control loop and firmware design for AC/DC and DC/DC power converters in AI data center and telecom applications
- Develop digital power control algorithms and implement real time control with firmware
- Work with other hardware engineer to do system integration and validation tests of digital power system reference designs per customer's specifications
- Provide detail technical support to customers to solve system application problems with firmware changes
- Generate test report and application design guide/manual for firmware used in power converters
- Develop technical training documents and perform training/seminars for FAEs and customers Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- MS in EE with minimum 4 years experiences or B.S. in EE with minimum 6 years experiences in digital control and firmware design of power converters
- Detail knowledge of ARM processors or DSPs for various power applications
- Proficient in computer languages and software development with C,C++, Assembly language, Python etc.
- Hands on experience in firmware design for AC/DC power supply and DC/DC converters
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers
- Well-organized, self-driven, work effectively either independently or in a team environment #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
