  • $140,000 + Bonus + Relocation Assistance 9/80 Work Schedule

This facility serves as the primary engineering, manufacturing, testing, and integration center, where teams design and develop next generation motor controllers, embedded electronic systems, and rugged motion control technologies. We deliver advanced solutions across space exploration, aerospace, defense, robotics, aviation, industrial automation, automotive, and agricultural technology markets. At the Simi Valley location, engineers focus on embedded hardware platforms, servo drives, actuators, sensors, and power electronics designed for extreme operating environments. The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and validate embedded electronic hardware powering mission critical aerospace, defense, and space applications.
What You Will Be Doing Embedded Hardware Design:
Develop microcontroller based analog and digital systems for rugged motor control applications
Lifecycle Development:
Drive full product lifecycle including schematic design, component selection, testing, and production release
Cross Functional Collaboration:
Partner with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems teams to deliver integrated solutions
Validation:
Support board layout, packaging, test stand development, and system integration to ensure reliability
Documentation:
Generate specifications, schematics, BOMs, qualification reports, and release documentation What You Need for This Position Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline 4+ years of embedded hardware development with multiple circuit board releases
Circuit Knowledge:
Strong understanding of analog/digital design, microcontrollers, A/D and D/A converters, and signal conditioning
Tools:
Proficiency with ORCAD schematic capture, hardware testing, troubleshooting, and validation processes
Preferred Skills:
Background in motor control systems, FPGA, DSP, TCP/IP communications, embedded C/C++, sensorless motor control, and power electronics (IGBTs, MOSFETs, current sensing) What's In It for You Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ matching) and more!
