The Successful Applicant What You Bring:
Bachelor's in Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) certification 8+ years of related transmission line engineering experience in the electric utility industry Experience in using
PLS-CADD
for designing transmission lines Strong experience with design codes and standards such as NESC, IEEE, ASCE, and ACI Strong experience with liaising substation, environmental, right-of-way construction and maintenance stakeholders Demonstrated ability in the application of engineering theories and principles Increasingly proficient in practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, preparing, and presenting recommendations Ability to work in a safe manner and always obey safety regulations Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in an unstructured, varied and deadline driven work environment Strong ability to collaborate with team members as well as peers in the electrical utility industry Effective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $175,000 USD annually.
