$38.50•45.50/hour or $80,000•100,000/year

Job Type:
Contract to Direct opportunity #GRPA We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience designing and integrating electrical power-distribution and control systems. This position will support the design of control buildings and the integration of equipment such as motor control centers, switchgear, control panels, and related electrical systems. Responsibilities Develop electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics for control buildings. Integrate customer-furnished electrical-distribution equipment, including MCCs, switchgear, and control systems. Create and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD 2D. Coordinate electrical designs with structural engineers, customers, and other project stakeholders. Support overall building-layout and equipment-integration activities. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, industry standards, and customer specifications. Participate in design reviews and troubleshoot electrical and integration issues. Provide technical and engineering support throughout project execution. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Three to five years of electrical-design and system-integration experience. Experience with electrical power-distribution systems. Working knowledge of MCCs, switchgear, control panels, or industrial control systems. Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D. Experience producing electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Ability to collaborate effectively with structural engineers, customers, and multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Experience Utility or renewable-energy projects. Data centers. Industrial facilities. Modular buildings or electrical control buildings. AutoCAD 3D or another 3D CAD platform. Candidates must be able to complete a seven-year background check and pass a five-panel drug screen. THC is included and is a disqualifier.
