Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a specialized engineering and field services organization that supports complex fuel and fluid handling systems for commercial and industrial clients. This role plays a critical part in commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing mission-critical infrastructure that supports essential operations. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience with the ability to interpret technical drawings and control logic. This individual will work extensively in the field, leading startup activities, diagnosing system issues, and collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient system performance. Strong communication skills, independent problem-solving ability, and comfort working in active construction and industrial environments are essential.

Responsibilities:

Perform advanced diagnostics, commissioning, and startup of fuel and related mechanical/electrical systems, ensuring functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance Interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and system drawings to verify installations and resolve discrepancies Execute functional, pressure, and performance testing of pumps, valves, piping, and control systems while documenting results and corrective actions Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and network communications to resolve control system and automation issues Provide on-site technical support, training, and coordination with contractors, vendors, and operations teams during system turnover Maintain detailed service documentation, adhere to OSHA and industry regulations, and travel extensively to project sites as required

Qualifications:

Associate degree or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or related technical field Experience in commissioning, maintenance, or startup of industrial mechanical and electrical systems; fuel or petroleum systems experience preferred Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and manufacturer documentation Working knowledge of PLCs, relay logic, instrumentation, and process control systems Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently in field-based environments Willingness to travel extensively and work outdoors on active construction or industrial sites #accentuate2

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
