Job Description
The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Utility Engineer I/II (Construction) position. This position will be primarily responsible for: Assisting project management staff by providing engineering design, construction management, contract oversight, and field inspections. Interfacing with District staff in other service groups, utility agencies, consultants, contractors, and other governmental agencies to clarify and resolve engineering design and construction and problems. Participating in continuous improvement by evaluating construction phase issues and integrating lessons learned into District practices and procedures. Ensuring construction contractor conformance of the construction documents, and resolving contractual and field conflicts encountered. Contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the unit's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
