3001584837-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Constellation Energy seeks a Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure that underpins our electricity, natural gas, and renewable energy operations. In this role, you will design and analyze civil and structural components for substations, generation facilities, and related sites, prepare drawings and specifications, and support permitting and regulatory compliance. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct site assessments, and provide construction support to ensure projects are safe, cost-effective, and sustainable, contributing directly to grid reliability and lower-carbon energy solutions. Responsibilities Design and analyze civil structures and infrastructure for utility and energy projects Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications Support permitting, regulatory compliance, and environmental/sustainability standards Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and external stakeholders Perform site assessments and inspections to ensure safety and quality Use civil/structural design software and modeling tools to optimize solutions Support construction oversight, issue resolution, and as-built documentation Contribute to innovation initiatives to improve reliability and grid resilience Develop cost estimates and support budget/schedule planning Prepare technical reports and present findings to internal and external partners Required Skills Civil engineering design Structural analysis Auto CAD or Micro Station Civil 3 D or similar tools Construction oversight Cost estimating and budgeting Technical report writing Project coordination Regulatory and permitting knowledge Geotechnical and site design fundamentals
