Job Description

Kellanova is seeking a Utilities Technician to keep our manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently. You'll operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, air compressors, chilled water, HVAC, and related plant utility systems that power production of our iconic snack and breakfast brands. Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, optimizing energy use, and maintaining records in a CMMS. You'll partner with operations and engineering, follow strict safety and food safety standards, and support continuous improvement in a collaborative, inclusive culture. Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, air compressors, chilled water, HVAC, and other plant utilities. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on utility systems and equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues to minimize downtime. Monitor system performance and optimize energy and water usage. Maintain accurate logs, inspections, and work orders in the CMMS. Follow OSHA, environmental, and food safety procedures and support audits. Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to support plant reliability. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects. Respond to utility alarms and emergencies, including off-shift support as needed. Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrades of utility equipment.
