3001585153-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Constellation Energy seeks an Engineer, Electrical / I&C to support design, maintenance, and reliability of electrical and instrumentation & controls systems for utility-scale energy facilities. In this role, you will perform system studies, support capital projects, develop specifications, review drawings, and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards. You will troubleshoot complex equipment issues, support plant operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, efficiency, and grid reliability. Responsibilities Design, analyze, and maintain electrical and I&C systems for utility-scale facilities Support and execute capital projects, including scope development and technical specifications Review and develop engineering drawings, calculations, and documentation Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards and company procedures Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment and system performance issues Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams to improve reliability and efficiency Perform system studies and root-cause analyses to reduce downtime and failures Support commissioning, testing, and acceptance of new or upgraded systems Prepare technical reports, procedures, and recommendations for leadership Identify and implement continuous improvement and innovation opportunities Required Skills Electrical power systems engineering Instrumentation and controls design PLC/DCS configuration and troubleshooting SCADA systems and industrial networking Power system studies (load flow, short circuit, coordination) Technical drawing and CAD review Root-cause and reliability analysis Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, IEEE, and ISA standards Project engineering and documentation Technical report writing and communication
