Manufacturing Engineer Memphis, TN $60,000 to $75,000 per year We are seeking an entry-level or junior Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer serving the growing electric power industry in Memphis, TN. This role supports production processes, learns manufacturing systems, and assists with continuous improvement initiatives under close supervision, working collaboratively across production, quality, and engineering teams. Schedule Full-time, onsite in Memphis, TN. Compensation $60,000 to $75,000 per year, based on experience. What You'll Do This entry-level engineer supports production processes, learns manufacturing systems, and assists with continuous improvement initiatives under close supervision, working collaboratively across multiple departments to solve technical problems. The Manufacturing Engineer assists in developing and maintaining standard work instructions, supports process troubleshooting on the production floor, and collects and analyzes basic production data such as scrap, cycle time, and downtime. This role participates in Lean and Six Sigma projects, often as a team member, and helps implement process improvements and cost-reduction ideas. The Manufacturing Engineer also supports tooling, fixture, and equipment setup, works with operators and technicians to resolve day-to-day issues, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. Required Qualifications BSME or equivalent engineering degree 0 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment Introductory Lean concepts (5S, waste reduction) CAD exposure (for example, SolidWorks or AutoCAD) Proficiency in Excel and basic data analysis Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification or coursework Familiarity with quality systems such as
ISO 9001
