Full Job Description Job Summary:
inCon-trol Water Systems is seeking a talented and driven SCADA Programmer with hands-on experience in VTScada to help design, implement, and maintain SCADA systems for municipal and industrial water systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and program SCADA systems using VTScada software Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing SCADA systems Program and configure PLCs using DirectSoft and Allen-Bradley platforms Collaborate with engineers and field technicians to integrate new control systems Configure and test communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC) Provide remote and on-site support for system commissioning and maintenance Document system architecture, programming logic, and operational procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Proven experience with VTScada programming and configuration Strong understanding of SCADA architecture and industrial control systems Proficiency in PLC programming with DirectSoft and Allen-Bradley Skilled in troubleshooting SCADA networks and PLC communications Familiarity with water/wastewater processes and instrumentation is a plus Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed
Bonus Skills:
Experience with HMI programming using CMore Knowledge of other HMI platforms and integration Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for industrial systems
