Job Description

Collaboratively engineer innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to quickly resolve customer issues and improve product quality in a dynamic fast-paced challenging environment. Supports product development from product prototyping, development, deployment/product release, and initial field support. Design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems. Create clear and concise reports to present analysis and support technical recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to guide the specification and development of products. Provides technical support for installation and/or diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues. Maintain a high degree of customer engagement including face-to-face and international travel to customer sites supporting near term product releases and solve customer issues. Work in a cleanroom lab and/or customer semiconductor fab environment. Master's degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience; or a PhD with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills. Clear communication and presentation skills. Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time. Prior product design and technical engineer experience is beneficial. Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment. Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams. Creative thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
