Product Engineer Are you a versatile and hands-on engineering professional eager to make a tangible impact? Join our client's dynamic team as a Product Engineer and be at the forefront of developing innovative products from concept to market. In this role, you'll enjoy variety and stimulate your curiosity—testing thermal performance, collaborating with certification labs, or tackling production challenges on the factory floor. If you thrive in a small team environment where your contributions genuinely matter, this opportunity is perfect for you. What You'll Do Lead the development of new products from early design concepts through successful launch. Manage and expand existing product lines, exploring new categories and improvements. Enhance current products for better performance, cost-efficiency, and manufacturability. Collaborate with suppliers on components and production processes to ensure quality and delivery. Partner with the Assembly team to optimize efficiency and support smooth production flow. Coordinate with third-party testing laboratories for certifications including UL, ETL, Title 24, ENERGY STAR. Conduct in-house testing for thermal performance, dimming compatibility, and overall product quality. Provide technical support to internal teams, customers, and installers. Oversee quality control on incoming shipments and assist with building maintenance when needed. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline. GPA of 3.5 or higher. Prior experience in product development, testing, or manufacturing environments Familiarity with certification processes such as UL, ETL, Title 24, ENERGY STAR. strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through. Proactive work ethic with a sense of ownership and problem-solving initiative. Fast learner with a curious mind and a versatile skill set. Comfortable working across office, design, and manufacturing environments. Excellent communication skills, with experience working with suppliers, internal teams, and customers. Nice to Have Experience with lighting, electrical, or regulated hardware products. Hands-on experience with product testing..
