$50.91/hour Job Overview Are you passionate about automotive engineering and thermal management systems? We are seeking a Product Engineer Engine System Cooling to support the design, development, validation, and release of critical cooling system components for vehicle programs. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers to deliver innovative solutions that support performance, quality, and manufacturability objectives. This opportunity is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving technical challenges while working throughout the complete product development lifecycle. What's the Job? โœ… Design, develop, validate, and release engine cooling system components โœ… Support cooling module assemblies including radiators, condensers, electric fan assemblies, transmission oil coolers, coolant hoses and tubes, valves, pumps, and electric coolant heaters โœ… Lead early packaging and component development activities to achieve cooling system functional objectives โœ… Coordinate design, CAE activities, prototyping, testing, and associated engineering documentation โœ… Develop and maintain Design Validation Plans and Reports (DVP&R) โœ… Participate in DFMEA activities to identify and mitigate potential design risks โœ… Collaborate with suppliers to support design-for-manufacturability and monitor component maturity milestones โœ… Support vehicle assembly builds, testing events, and issue resolution activities โœ… Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for technical concerns โœ… Address post-launch quality issues and identify cost reduction opportunities โœ… Work closely with design, CAE, manufacturing, testing, and supplier teams throughout development programs What's Needed? โœ” 3-5 years of experience in automotive product development, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering field โœ” Experience with engine cooling systems, thermal management systems, heat exchangers, coolant systems, HVAC systems, fluid systems, or related automotive cooling components โœ” Experience supporting components through the complete product development lifecycle, including design, development, validation, testing, and launch โœ” Experience using CAD software such as CATIA, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, or similar platforms โœ” Knowledge of engineering validation and testing processes โœ” Experience performing root cause analysis and technical problem solving โœ” Ability to work cross-functionally with design, CAE, testing, manufacturing, and supplier teams โœ” Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications โญ Experience with radiators, condensers, fan assemblies, transmission oil coolers, coolant hoses/tubes, valves, pumps, or electric coolant heaters โญ Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T, and APQP โญ Experience supporting vehicle testing and launch activities โญ Experience working directly with suppliers and managing development milestones โญ Exposure to CAE analysis and thermal performance evaluations โญ Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field What's In It for Me? ๐ŸŒŸ Opportunity to contribute to next-generation automotive cooling and thermal management systems ๐ŸŒŸ Exposure to full product development cycles from concept through launch ๐ŸŒŸ Collaborative environment working with engineering, manufacturing, testing, and supplier teams ๐ŸŒŸ Hands-on involvement in vehicle development and validation activities ๐ŸŒŸ Professional growth through advanced engineering tools, processes, and cross-functional teamwork ๐ŸŒŸ Competitive hourly compensation at $50.91 per hour Benefits
