8:00am - 4:30pm M-F. Half hour lunch. Overtime, other days, hours, and shift work may be required
Main Responsibilities:
Design of mechanical, pneumatic, and some electrical systems involving welding, machining, sheet metal, calculations, layouts, detailing and procurement of parts from vendors. Design molds and other tooling as required by customer and Argonics specifications. Create BOM's and Job orders for manufacturing in ERP system and the introduction of that product to manufacturing. Create, edit, and assist in the development, testing, modification and documentation of technical standards, methods, and procedures of Argonics products. Assist in the development, testing, modification and documentation of technical standards, methods, and procedures, as related to customers, sub-contractors, or vendors. Coordinate with customers, subcontractors and vendors. Suggest improvements, upgrade, and improve our manufacturing equipment and processes. Leadership of New Product Development (NPD) projects, including costing budgets. Understand technical developments and company needs, and assist management in making recommendations regarding systems, products, hardware, and software to promote the planning, organization, leadership and control of related work activities. Trouble shoot, diagnose, and sometimes help fix equipment issues. Show a willingness to learn and perform any and all other tasks assigned and required.
Requirements:
Four-year technical or engineering degree. Minimum two years industry experience. Skilled and accomplished in 3D modeling. Solidworks preferred. 2D AutoCAD also. Demonstrated hands on capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and computer literacy (Word, Excel, etc.). Demonstrated project management. Interact well with others, team player with strong multi-tasking. Positive "Can do" attitude and be creative. Must possess attention to detail, follow thru, and accuracy of tasks. Customer service oriented.
