The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive engineering and a passion for innovation. This role involves designing, developing, and improving products to meet customers' needs and enhance the company's market position. What you Will do in Your Role Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications. Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends and customer needs. Utilize CAD software to view and analyze detailed product designs and engineering drawings. Understand simulations and stress tests to evaluate product durability. Implement improvements based on testing results and feedback. Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are met. Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the development process. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years experience in product development or similar role; other levels of experience may be considered Plastic injection molding engineering experience Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software such as NX, CATIA, Visualization, or similar. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements What Will Put You Ahead Project Management skills Experience with prototype development and testing Master's degree in Engineering or a related field Experience with Exterior Decorative Automotive Body Parts Experience with Nissan development processes/systems Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
