is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park.   • Job Summary:
  • The Product Development Engineering Co-op will support other members of the engineering department and product management group on new product development, existing product revisions, and equipment testing.

This person will interact with production personnel on the manufacturing floor to discuss project specifications and product adjustments. The individual will be exposed to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and how they interact on the overall equipment design. They will also be exposed to various stages of product development from product specification origination through production launch. The position is intended to be a co-operative learning experience, alternating semesters of work with school.

  • Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • + Designs components and assemblies. + Creates detailed drawings. + Organizes bills of materials (BOMs) in the MRP system and completes engineering change notices. + Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Required Skills/Abilities:
  • + Actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or other related program + Strong ability to multi-task with assignments from engineers and a desire for a hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Basic competency with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Creo, NX) and the MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel)

+ Preferred experience with SolidWorks and SyteLine.

  • Education and Experience:
  • + High school diploma or equivalent. + Must be pursuing a degree in Engineering.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • + Communicates orally and in writing; and hears at a conversational level.

+ Required to sit, use fingers to grip with pressure, twist or bend the wrists, and keep wrists in prolonged positions of flexion or extension.

+ Frequently works around moving vehicles and wears safety glasses.

+ Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, climb ladders of up to 3 ft. in height, reach, twist while rotating the torso, lift up to 35lbs., use hands to grip with pressure, keep feet in prolonged positions of flexion or extension.
