Are you ready for lift-off? Position Summary This internship provides a hands-on, real-world RF Hardware design experience for a highly motivated and analytical candidate. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Engineering under the Space and Satellite segment, offering rare visibility and exposure for an intern-level role. The RF Hardware Engineering Intern will support core RF hardware engineering activities by assisting with PCB‑level RF design tasks, performing guided laboratory work, and contributing to documentation and analysis efforts. Work will be project‑focused, scoped for a learning environment, and performed under the mentorship of senior engineers. Responsibilities Assist with RF PCB design and schematic work. Support component research and selection. Help with board bring‑up and RF signal path debug Perform spurious, flatness, and phase noise measurements and analysis Perform signal‑integrity simulations with guidance. Document test results and contribute to design updates. Requirements Completion of a graduate-level RF/Microwave Circuit Design course Proficiency with RF circuit simulation tools and PCB trace signal integrity modeling (ADS, Genesys, Spice, etc.) is a plus Familiarity with RF front-end gain analysis is desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to write clearly and concisely Education Currently enrolled in a relevant Master's Degree program (Electrical Engineering or related discipline) About Us This position requires compliance with Comtech's Drug-Free Workplace Program.
