In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive drive tests to evaluate and optimize wireless network performance. Your expertise will help ensure our radio frequency (RF) systems operate at peak efficiency, delivering exceptional connectivity experiences for users worldwide. Responsibilities Plan and execute drive test campaigns across various geographic locations to collect RF performance data. Utilize diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment to measure signal strength, quality, and coverage metrics. Analyze test results to identify network issues, interference sources, or coverage gaps that impact service quality. Perform root cause analysis on RF anomalies by interpreting schematics, circuit boards, and electrical systems. Troubleshoot equipment problems related to RF transmitters, receivers, antennas, and associated electronic components. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop test plans, schedules, and reporting procedures using project management tools. Document findings thoroughly using CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders. Qualifications Proven experience with electrical diagnostics, circuit testing, and troubleshooting electronic equipment. Strong knowledge of RF principles, including circuit boards, electrical schematic reading, and electromagnetic interference mitigation. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters, spectrum analyzers, and signal testers. Skilled in interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics related to electronic systems and electro-mechanical components. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or scripting for automation of testing processes. Experience working with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and MicroStation for technical drawings and layouts. Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical blueprints accurately. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment assembly, soldering on surface mount technology (SMT), and maintenance of electronic systems. Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical wiring, circuit boards, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electronic circuit boards. Knowledge of industry standards such as NEC (National Electrical Code) for electrical safety compliance. Experience with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), debugging electronic systems, and using diagnostic tools efficiently.
