Doors by Mike is looking for an experienced Fireplace Service Technician to join our team. We are specifically seeking someone with hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing, repairing, or installing gas fireplaces, gas log sets, or other gas-fired hearth equipment . Our Fireplace Service Technicians travel to customers' homes and businesses to diagnose fireplace issues, perform repairs and maintenance, complete safety inspections, and provide professional customer service. What You'll Do Diagnose and troubleshoot gas, electric, and wood-burning fireplace systems Service and repair gas fireplaces and gas log sets Troubleshoot ignition systems, gas components, electrical components and venting Perform fireplace maintenance and safety inspections Install fireplaces and related equipment according to manufacturer specifications Read manufacturer manuals, diagrams and technical information Explain findings and recommended repairs clearly to customers Maintain accurate service and parts records Safely operate a company vehicle and travel to customer locations Who We're Looking For Fireplace experience is strongly preferred. We're especially interested in candidates with professional experience involving: Gas fireplaces and gas log systems Natural gas or propane appliances Fireplace diagnostics and repair Ignition systems and gas controls Venting and fireplace installation Electrical troubleshooting related to gas appliances Candidates with substantial HVAC, gas appliance, or similar service experience may also be considered if they have strong troubleshooting skills and experience working safely with natural gas or propane.

You should also have:
