Interview:
In-person interview for Combustion Design candidates; approximately 4 hours. Responsibilities Own component modification designs, including cost reduction modifications. Review sourcing and supplier quotes for proposed modifications. Develop cost Pareto models using Apriori or similar tools. Perform mechanical design, model/drawing definition, PLM BoMs, and change instructions. Support hardware procurement, manufacturing, and assembly. Work with drafting, sourcing, manufacturing, aero, heat transfer, materials, repair engineering, and value engineering teams. Interface with suppliers regarding cost reduction ideas, cost impact, and manufacturability. Provide shop support for non-conformances and supplier qualifications. Review SDRs and follow modified parts through final assembly and fleet launch. Required Technical Skills NX - Mechanical and Routing modules PMI / Drafting PLM Drafting standards, GD&T, and fundamental stack-ups Ansys Classic Preferred Experience Design, analysis, and manufacturing of gas turbine combustion components, including: Fuel nozzles, Endcovers, Casings, Caps, Liners, Transition pieces, Flow sleeves, TP aft frames, and Crossfire tubes Familiarity with design practices, lifing methods, and tools.
Pay:
$49.00 - $51.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
