Compressor Technician Full-Time A client of ours is seeking an experienced Compressor Technician to support compression and process equipment throughout oil & gas facilities in Texas. This is a hands-on field position focused on keeping natural gas equipment operating safely and reliably. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, service, and repair natural gas compressors and rotating equipment Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment overhauls Diagnose mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control issues Assist with compressor installations, start-ups, commissioning, and equipment upgrades Work with gas handling systems, piping, valves, instrumentation, and related process equipment Read P&IDs, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals Complete service documentation and communicate equipment conditions to customers and internal teams Follow LOTO, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned territory Qualifications Previous natural gas compressor or oil & gas field service experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience with compressors, engines, rotating equipment, or gas processing equipment Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and control systems Comfortable reading P&IDs and equipment schematics Experience with VRUs, vapor combustion equipment, flares, or similar process equipment is a plus Valid driver's license and ability to work in outdoor field environments Technical or mechanical training is preferred To apply, email pc@libertyjobs.com your resume.
