•Grades 4 to 6

FIRST Tech Challenge students learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and code robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. Robots are built from a reusable platform, powered by Android technology, and can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming.(from: https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/ftc )

Requirements:

Run 1 team of 6-10 students

2 meetings a week for 120 minutes each meeting

Complete all components of the competition award submissions

Compete at 2 FTC state qualifying events

Attend the CT State Championship with the team if they qualify or as a volunteer.
