Duties Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely, including forklifts and power tools, adhering strictly to safety protocols. Assemble components and products on the production line using hand tools, mechanical assembly techniques, and interpreting technical drawings. Measure parts and finished products accurately using measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following proper ergonomic practices. Inspect materials and finished goods for defects, ensuring compliance with quality control standards. Maintain accurate production documentation, including logs for inventory, process steps, and quality checks. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and assisting in implementing lean manufacturing practices. Requirements Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with familiarity in assembly line operations. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but training can be provided. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and interpreting technical drawings or technical documentation. Skilled in using measuring instruments for quality assurance purposes. Experience with warehouse operations or managing inventory within a manufacturing environment is advantageous. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and commitment to adhering to safety protocols at all times. Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as required by production demands. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within manufacturing management systems and participate in continuous process improvement efforts.
