Engineering Technician (Medical Robotics)
Contract:
12-Month+
Contract Shift:
1st Shift | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Our client, a global leader in the medical device industry, is seeking an Engineering Technician to provide hands-on electrical technical support for advanced medical robotics systems. This role focuses on troubleshooting, testing, calibration, maintenance, and technical documentation while working closely with engineering teams to support equipment performance and reliability. The ideal Engineering Technician will have practical electrical troubleshooting experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a background working with complex equipment in a manufacturing, medical device, or robotics environment. Key Focus Provide hands-on electrical technical support for medical robotics systems, assisting engineers with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, system maintenance, and technical evaluations to ensure reliable equipment performance. What You'll Do Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of electrical engineering tasks. Assist with installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance of robotic and electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical and robotic equipment to identify and resolve technical issues. Perform technical evaluations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Develop and recommend technical procedures and methods to improve equipment performance. Monitor system performance and conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues. Support troubleshooting activities during production and testing processes. Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and testing documentation. Follow established technical procedures and safety requirements. What We're Looking For Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical and robotic systems. Practical understanding of electrical systems, technical procedures, and equipment maintenance. Experience supporting equipment installation, calibration, testing, or repair. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and established procedures. Experience preparing technical documentation and maintaining accurate records. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineering teams. Ability to work independently on routine technical tasks and make sound decisions in straightforward situations. Experience in a manufacturing, medical device, or robotics environment.
Pay:
$30.00 per hour
