Overview:

We are seeking a Teleoperations Operator to operate robotic systems and support data collection, testing, and product development. This role requires prior hands-on experience controlling robotic arms or similar systems through wearable teleoperations equipment, motion-tracking technology, or specialized control interfaces. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both robotics hardware and software, following detailed procedures, troubleshooting basic issues, and documenting robot performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate robotic arms and similar systems through teleoperations software and equipment.
  • Wear and use motion-controlled, motion-capture, VR, exoskeleton-style, or other teleoperation equipment to guide robot movements.
  • Execute assigned movements, manipulation tasks, and testing scenarios accurately and consistently.
  • Set up, test, calibrate, and validate teleoperation equipment before each session.
  • Monitor robot performance and identify hardware, software, sensor, calibration, or connectivity issues.
  • Perform first-line troubleshooting and escalate complex problems to engineering.
  • Follow established SOPs, safety requirements, and data collection procedures.
  • Collect and review robot demonstration data for quality and completeness.
  • Document system errors, robot behavior, test results, and operational issues.
  • Reproduce reported issues to support engineering investigations.
  • Support equipment updates, routine maintenance, and basic component replacements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to improve robot performance and teleoperation workflows
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Ability to perform structured, repetitive robot movements while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to follow detailed SOPs, test procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to escalate issues effectively to engineering and operations teams.
  • Comfortable working onsite and interacting directly with robotic equipment
