In this role, you will be responsible for programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial robotic systems used in automated welding processes. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation of robotic welding equipment, optimize production efficiency, and uphold the highest quality standards. Duties Program, set up, and calibrate industrial robotic systems, with a focus on Fanuc robotics platforms and other leading automation controls Troubleshoot and repair robotic welders, PLC systems, HMI interfaces, and industrial electrical systems to minimize downtime Develop and modify robot programs using ladder logic (LD), programming in engineering languages, and HMI configuration tools Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks on robotic equipment and tooling to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with engineering teams on blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and integration of vision inspection systems Support lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing robot workflows, reducing waste, and improving cycle times Requirements Proven experience working with industrial robotic systems, especially Fanuc robots or similar brands Strong knowledge of robotics engineering principles, PLC programming (including PLC troubleshooting), and industrial controls Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints accurately Skilled in industrial electrical systems installation, repair, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing setting Familiarity with industrial networks, distributed control systems (DCS), and automation protocols Mechanical aptitude with machining skills and tooling knowledge; experience with SolidWorks is a plus Hands-on experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role involving robotics or automation systems Knowledge of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) is desirable for regulated environments Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently Strong communication skills for documenting procedures and collaborating across teams Join us as a Robotic Weld Technician to be at the forefront of manufacturing innovation!
