WKW has immediate openings for a Robot Technicians!
Pay rate:
$26-$40/hour based on experience and skillset
Description:
Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics. Duties and Responsibilities • Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics. • Determine causes of operational problems or failures. Disassembly and reassemble robots or peripheral equipment to make repairs such as replacement of defective circuit boards, sensors, controllers, encoders, and servo meters. Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components. Maintain electromechanical equipment. Maintain service records of robotic equipment or automated production systems. Install, program, or repair programmable controllers, robot controllers, end-of-arm tools, or conveyors. Document robotics test procedures and results. Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes. Attach wires between controllers. Test performance of robotic assemblies, using instruments such as oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, or bridges Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality. Modify computer-controlled robot movements. Train customers or other personnel to install, use, or maintain robots. Build or assemble robotic devices or systems. Program complex robotic systems, such as vision systems Assist engineers in the design, configuration, or application of robotic systems. Inspect installation sites. Install new robotic systems in stationary positions or on tracks. Train robots, using artificial intelligence software or interactive training techniques, to perform simple or complex tasks, such as designing and carrying out a series of iterative tests of chemical samples. Maintain inventories of production supplies such as sensors and cables. Fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, or fixtures, using metalworking machines. Develop three-dimensional simulations of automation systems Other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Robot Technology preferred. Prefer prior experience with Fanuc robots Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Robot Technician. Able to read blueprints and technical drawings. Proficient with manual and power tools. Must be able to work overtime. Familiar with Quality Management System (QMS) for IATF requirements and Environmental Management System (EMS) for
