Job Description

We are currently seeking an advanced Robot Technician that is a problem-solver with a mechanical mindset, capable of adapting to new challenges every day and working both independently and collaboratively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of our Robotic Automation team to provide technical and hands-on support for all robot work cells including: o Programming robots and maintain an up-to-date program library o Make robot program adjustments as products change o Troubleshoot, repair or replace all components of Fanuc robots and end of arm tooling o Coordination of weekly/monthly/annual preventative maintenance of robots and associated equipment o Monitor inventory of all replacement/wear parts o Respond to downtime calls o Train employees o Provide feedback and support to Product Engineers during the quoting process for products that will be manufactured in robotic work cells • Responsible for effective implementation of company strategies that include: training, employee development, performance, safety, and quality assurance in all departments.
  • Troubleshoot production and process problems; communicate them to management, quality, and product engineering. Investigate root causes and provide recommendations of how to fix the problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Observe & enforce all safety policies and procedures in compliance with the company rules, while seeking continuous improvement.
Responsible for his/her safety as well as that of his/her coworkers by maintaining a safe and clean work environment by educating personnel on the use of all equipment and resources. The above declarations represent a general outline of the duties and responsibilities of this position. Duties may be added or subtracted as business conditions or other circumstances require.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience troubleshooting Fanuc robot cells.
  • Associate degree in an Engineering field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Fanuc Servo motors a plus.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks.
  • Experience in metal fabrication is a plus.
  • Knowledge of WeldPro software is a plus.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Capable of working in a team environment.
  • Electrical/Mechanical background.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems a plus.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to use hand tools.
