Job Description

SUMMARY Responsible for running, troubleshooting, and repairing automated industrial robot and electromechanical machinery. The role requires performing scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency diagnostics to minimize production downtime, blending mechanical, electrical, and software skill sets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Safety:
Verify that safety gates, light curtains, and emergency stops operate correctly. Follow appropriate Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures when working on equipment.
Tooling Installation & Maintenance:
Remove and install machine molds as needed by the operations and engineering teams. Make repairs such as re-tapping damaged threads, filing edges, polishing, and installing screens.
Preventative & Corrective Maintenance :
Help define routine servicing schedule and program for first-of-kind robotic manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostic:
Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical failures (up to 480V) using multimeters, schematics, and error codes.
Documentation:
Maintain maintenance logs and spare parts inventory in Asset Essentials ERP System.
Programming & Calibration:
Adjust, backup, or modify robot movement paths, positions, and logic of Fanuc Robots and Schneider
PLC. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Electrical Troubleshooting:
Knowledge of PLC's, HMI's, VFD's, servo motors, and sensors and how they work together. Robot-specific training or experience is a benefit but not required.
Mechanical Troubleshooting:
Knowledge of pumps, motors, and tooling assembly. Must be able to use manual vertical mill (Bridgeport style) and lathe.
Physical & Environmental:
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift heavy parts up to 50 lbs, and work in industrial manufacturing environments. Willing to run machines to verify correct operation.
Education & Experience:
HS Diploma or equivalent. Technical certification, associate degree in robotics/automation, or 2-5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience. Must demonstrate high attention to detail.
