Monday-Saturday Job Summary:

Wise Staffing Group is seeking a skilled and dependable Robotic Weld Technician to support robotic welding operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with advanced equipment, troubleshooting production challenges, maintaining quality, and helping others succeed. The Robotic Weld Technician will set up and operate robotic weld cells, assist with quality inspections, troubleshoot equipment and welding processes, support preventative maintenance, and serve as a key resource for training production associates. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, leadership skills, and the ability to work safely in a hands-on factory environment. Must apply on www.wisestaffinggroup.com Physical & Work Environment - Work is performed in a manufacturing/factory environment. Ability to stand for extended periods during an eight-hour shift. Frequent bending, stooping, stretching, reaching, and other physical movements required. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds continuously throughout the shift. Requires normal vision and hearing, along with good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Must be comfortable working around welding equipment and in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up and prepare robotic welding equipment and weld cells for daily production. Operate robotic welding equipment as needed while monitoring production and product quality. Perform and assist with initial inspections, quality checks, piece counts, paperwork, computer entries, and material traceability. Troubleshoot robotic welding process and equipment issues and assist with resolving production problems. Identify robotic welding tooling maintenance needs and coordinate repairs or maintenance with the tool room and outside vendors. Perform and assist in developing preventative maintenance tasks and schedules. Train and support associates on the proper operation of robotic weld cells and production procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while encouraging strong organizational practices among team members. Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to associates while promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Two-year Welding degree or welding certification preferred. Previous experience with robotic welding, manufacturing, welding, or industrial equipment preferred. Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation. Basic PLC logic knowledge required; CNC programming experience is a plus. Mechanical/tooling experience is helpful, including familiarity with tool room equipment such as lathes and mills. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity skills. Ability to lead, train, motivate, and communicate effectively with production associates. $18.00 per hour
