Job Description
Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. (JLL) seeks a Senior Mechanical and Robotics Technician to support advanced building systems within commercial real estate facilities. You will maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, robotic, and automated material-handling equipment, ensuring high uptime and safe operations. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and supporting upgrades for robotics and controls. Working in a performance-driven, collaborative environment, you will partner with engineers and site teams while following strict safety and compliance standards across diverse, high-profile client sites. Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, and repair building mechanical, robotic, and automation systems Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on conveyors, robotics, and controls Diagnose equipment faults using drawings, manuals, and test instruments Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and site teams to resolve technical issues Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and system performance Support commissioning, upgrades, and retrofits of robotics and mechanical systems Apply safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures in all work Respond to critical equipment alarms and minimize downtime Required Skills Mechanical systems maintenance Industrial robotics troubleshooting PLC and controls fundamentals Automated material handling systems Preventive maintenance planning Electrical and mechanical schematics reading Industrial safety and LOTO procedures CMMS usage and maintenance documentation Basic HVAC and building systems knowledge Use of diagnostic and test instruments
