Engineer-Level 1 -
Utility-Scale Energy Projects Location:
Juno Beach, FL Duration:
12-month contract
Pay Rate:
$31.00/hour We are seeking an Engineer-Level 1 to support engineering assignments ranging from defined technical tasks to moderately complex engineering projects. This role will work with engineering and project teams supporting utility-scale solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and power plant operations . The successful candidate will apply engineering principles to technical studies, analysis, documentation and project coordination while developing their expertise in engineering standards, decision-making and project execution.
Responsibilities:
Interpret engineering data, develop technical documentation and provide technical support to engineers and technicians. Support engineering studies and analysis to solve moderate-difficulty technical assignments. Prepare job cost estimates, pole bore details, NJUNS forms and other required engineering documents and reports for construction and maintenance projects. Assist with project coordination, planning, performance tracking and reporting. Support engineering activities associated with utility-scale solar, BESS and power plant operations. Help ensure engineering designs and deliverables meet project specifications, safety requirements and applicable engineering standards. Support technical analysis, project coordination and engineering oversight under the direction of experienced engineers. Develop knowledge of engineering standards, project processes and technical requirements. Promote a safe, inclusive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required. 0-5 years of relevant engineering experience , including engineering studies and analysis. Ability to apply engineering principles to solve technical problems and complete engineering assignments. Strong analytical, communication and technical documentation skills. Ability to work effectively with engineering and project teams. Interest or experience in solar, BESS, power generation or utility-scale energy projects is beneficial.
Additional Information:
12-month contract opportunity. $31.00/hour pay rate. Based in Juno Beach, Florida . On-site position. Candidates should be available to interview and able to start in line with the project's requirements. ...
