Candidates should be able to:
Carry and set up scanning equipment weighing up to 30 lbs, multiple times per day Climb ladders and access rooftops and other elevated surfaces as a routine part of site work Work comfortably at height. This role regularly requires roof and elevated-site access Stand, walk, and remain on your feet for extended periods across a full workday Work outdoors in a range of weather conditions Required Competencies Genuinely comfortable with a travel-heavy schedule and frequent changes to itinerary- this is the single most important fit factor for this role Ability to work independently without direct supervision Technical aptitude for operating scanning and imaging equipment Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection Professional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills — this is a client-facing role on customer sites Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the U.
- 40/hour band broken into tiers for transparency with candidates. Tier Hourly Rate Typical Profile Entry $25
- 30/hr 0-1 years relevant field/technical experience Experienced $30
- 35/hr 1-3 years in field survey, scanning, or related construction/AEC work Advanced / Certified $35
- 40/hr 3+ years experience and/or Part 107 drone certification Per diem rate for overnight travel: $50 Per diem rate for air travel: $75 Education and Experience High school diploma required Valid driver's license required OSHA 10 certificate required (or obtained within 90 days of hire) Experience in construction, architecture, or engineering preferred Experience with laser scanning or surveying equipment a plus Comfortable working at height (ladders, rooftops) — prior roofing, tower, construction, or similar field experience a plus
