We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual for a Surveyor Field Technician position in the Central Florida Area. The Surveyor Field Technician responsibilities will include boundary, construction stakeout, topo, form checks, foundation surveys, elevation certificates, setting benchmarks, closing surveys, as-builts and other commercial applications of surveying.https:
//polysurveying.com/ RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS- 2-5 years of experience as a survey field technician/crew chief required
- Approximately 2 or more years of industry experience, i.e., engineering field surveying for topographic, boundary, ALTA, construction staking and calculations, preparing grade sheets, field data analysis & mapping, etc.
- High School Diploma / GED or higher education.
- Must have a valid Driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must have a cleaning driving record (background check will be required before hiring)
- experience required to run robotic equipment for boundary, construction layout, etc...GPS experience not required, but is a plus
- This is a Full Time position
- Attendance, punctuality and reliability are essential
- Topographic surveys and x-sectioning
- Performs mathematical calculations; field checking & field data
- Take accurate and clear notes and performs note reduction. Provide field documentation in anticipation of PLS's and/or office support's needs
- Reads and understands plats, plans, and specifications
- Know principles of monumentation, staking and marking
- Responsible for Quality Control and performance of all work
- Responsible for the maintenance of all Company equipment and Company vehicle
- Self-motivated and organized with good decision making skills
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Performs other duties as assigned
SCHEDULE
- Monday to Friday with occasional weekends.

Full-time Pay:
$22.00- 28.00 per hour, depending on experience. Typical total annual earnings range from approximately $60,000
- 80,000, depending on experience and overtime.
