Job Description

Surveying CAD Technician The role is responsible for preparing CAD drawings for a variety of projects on a fluctuating schedule. Helping to prep field crew data and maintain communication with field crews and project managers. Help maintain accurate records and research as needed. Job duties include but are not limited to : Efficiently plan and prepare CAD drawings using Carlson Survey for a broad range of projects to include: Topographic surveys

ALTA/NSPS

surveys Boundary surveys Drainage plans subdivision plats Construction staking surveys As-built surveys Prepare construction staking data for field crews using construction plan sets. Process and interpret survey data collected in the field. Perform research and gather data for new and ongoing projects. Maintain and organize digital and paper survey records. Collaborate with project manager and surveyor regarding ongoing and scheduled projects. Interact daily with field crews as necessary. Skills required : Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Carlson Software Ability to read and interpret construction plans and plats Ability to complete projects independently or with minimal supervision and on schedule Exceptional attention to detail Solid computations skills Additional qualifications : One to five years of land survey experience Experience with any land surveying field equipment Job type : Full-time position with vacation, paid holidays, and overtime availability. Pay :

$20

•30 per hour Job location: Venice, Florida Personal transportation is required. Dress code is casual and laid back with a slightly more formal attire required only for specific occasions with prior announcement. The work environment is an open office environment that has extremely limited contact with the public.
